Mahonia haematocarpa: fiori e ...bacche!

Beh, ve lo dico: le mahonie mi sono sempre state un pò antipatiche Con quell'aria ingessata da funerale, quelle foglie spinose... Impalate come soldatini e quelle bacche bluastre un pò tristarelle... Mah, pur celebrate ovunque, a me non mi hanno mai attirato granché

Però questa. Questa me piase. Assai. Mahonia haematocarpa. Primo perché fa il cespuglio e non l'arbusto impettito. E poi perché le bacche sono rosse...
